IKOM Projekts Foundation was honored to welcome Unity in the Community from Philadelphia, USA, to our workshop. This initiative, facilitated by Travel Deeper, provided a unique opportunity for cultural exchange and skills development. During the workshop, both children and adults from Philadelphia engaged with our local trainees, learning practical woodworking techniques while also sharing experiences from their own communities. The visit highlighted the power of cross-cultural collaboration in empowering youth and strengthening communities. At IKOM Projekts Foundation, our mission is to provide skills training that opens doors to sustainable livelihoods. Partnerships such as this not only enrich the learning experience for our trainees but also foster international connections that create lasting impact. We look forward to building on this foundation of collaboration to continue bridging Ghana and the rest of the Philadelphia, while inspiring the next generation of changemakers.
